Sacramento trades the Kings to Seattle
In case you missed it last night the Thunder traded James Harden, Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook, and Lazar Hayward to Houston for Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, two first-round picks, and a second-round pick .

My colleague over at BoSox Injection writes that a blockbuster deal is being discussed with the Dodgers and Red Sox sending Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford and Nick Punto for the Dodgers for Zack Lee, Allen Webster, Rubby De La Rosa and Jerry Sands.
I proposed a deal involving Beckett for Lee around the deadline, so I’m obviously into this deal. It would take a lot for a trade like this to get done, but unless the Sox eat way too much money, this will be a great deal for them to unload their biggest contracts and get some good young arms.
The deal is official. Here are the pieces:
The Red Sox will send Josh Beckett, Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford, and Nick Punto to Los Angeles for James Loney and four prospects (Allen Webster, Ivan De Jesus, Jerry Sands, and Rubby De La Rosa). The Red Sox will pay just $12MM of the over $270MM owed.
