In an interview with WEEI this morning, Tom Brady said that he would “welcome Randy Moss with open arms”. Randy has also said that he would come back to New England. So now there is all sort of speculation. I find it really hard to believe that the Patriots would bring him back. If it was up to me, I’d offer him a low contract that’s easy to cut. Ideally an incentive laden deal would work with these players, but not in this case, he’d be asking for the ball way too much in order to reach his incentives. When it’s all said and done, I strongly doubt that Randy Moss will be on the Patriots roster at all this year.

The New England Patriots quarterback became the first unanimous choice for The Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player Award, receiving all 50 votes.
In 2007 Brady won his first MVP, he got 49 votes; one vote went to Brett Favre.
