Chris “Extreme close up” Broussard reports that the Hawks are trading Joe Johnson to the Nets for… nothing(?) contingent on Deron WIlliams returning to the Nets.

My favorite part of this is that Dwight Howard isn’t getting traded to the Nets. It’s one this to demand a trade, it’s another thing to demand a trade to one specific team who has very little to offer. I haven’t looked at the numbers but Broussard believes that this will take up the rest of their cap room.

I’m just kidding about the “for nothing”. They are getting that contract off the books, which could be quite handy depending on how they spend the money.

Well…. I like Morrow. It could be Houston’s pick which is lottery protected the next 3 years and becomes a second rounder after that.
