Let me start out by saying I’m truly disappointed that the Spurs lost. I like them and I hope this isn’t the end of Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker’s run together, but I love the Thunder! I love the small town vibe. I love the way the front office has gotten tricky with the cap to keep their core talent around long-term, but most importantly, I’m impressed by Westbrook. He caught so much crap after last year’s Western Conference Finals for holding the ball too long, for taking too many shots, for not being a team player, and not running the system that coach Brooks put in place. He could’ve been a little bitch about it like some players *cough* Melo *cough* Lebron *cough* but he wasn’t. He got his money this offseason, and he bought into this team. Durant’s the superstar, but they don’t get this far without Westbrook developing into the great teammate he’s become. I’m stoked. Now I hope we see Boston wrap it up tomorrow night. It’s gonna be a great series!
